Voter Registration Deadlines for the April 7, 2020 Spring Election are below. An acceptable Proof of Residence document must be provided when registering to vote by mail, in-person at the Clerk’s Office, or at the polling location on Election Day.
Spring Election Registration Deadlines
March 18, 2020 - Deadline to Register by Mail - Your Wisconsin Voter Registration Application, along with a copy of an acceptable Proof of Residence document must be postmarked no later than March 18, 2020.
March 18, 2020 - Deadline to Register to Vote Online - Voters who have a current and valid ID, and are able to match their Name, Date of Birth, Wisconsin Driver License or State ID Number, and Address with the Wisconsin DMV can register to vote online through March 18, 2020.
April 3, 2020 @ 5:00 p.m.- Deadline to Register in Municipal Clerk’s Office - Voters may register in-person in their Municipal Clerk’s Office during the Clerk’s business hours until 5:00 p.m. on April 3, 2020.
April 7, 2020 from 7:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. Register to Vote at Your Polling Place - Voters can register to vote at Northbrook Church on Election Day, April 7, 2020.
Spring Election Absentee Voting Deadlines
April 2, 2020 @ 5:00 p.m.- Deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot - If you are a regular or a permanent overseas voter, your absentee ballot request must be received by your Municipal Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 2, 2020. To request an absentee ballot online, please visit www.myvote.wi.gov
April 3, 2020 @ 5:00 p.m. - Deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot- If a voter is indefinitely confined your absentee ballot request must be received by your Municipal Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 3, 2020.
April 3, 2020 @ 5:00 p.m. - Deadline for In-Person Absentee Voting- Voters can request and vote an absentee ballot in-person in their Municipal Clerk’s Office March 23, 2020 through April 3, 2020 @ 5:00 p.m.
April 7, 2020 @ 5:00 p.m.- Deadline for Hospitalized and Military Voters - Voters who are in a hospital may request a ballot be brought to them by an appointed agent if they are hospitalized in the 7 days preceding the Primary. Hospitalized electors may request an absentee ballot between March 31, 2020 and April 7, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Military voters must request an absentee ballot no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 7th, 2020.
April 7, 2020 @ 8:00 p.m.- Deadline to Return Absentee Ballot - If you have already received an absentee ballot, your ballot must be returned to the Municipal Clerk or to the polling location no later than 8:00 p.m. on April 7, 2020.
