Registration and Early Voting Information for Nov. 6th Election

Voter Registration Deadlines

October 17th, 2018– Deadline to register for the November 6th Election by mail or online. Mailed voter registration forms must be postmarked no later than October 17, 2018. Online voter registration is available to voters who are able to match their name, date of birth, Wisconsin Driver License or State ID number, and address with the Wisconsin DMV.

November 2nd, 2018—Deadline to register for the November 6th Election in-person in Municipal Clerk’s Office by 5:00 PM at 4128 Hubertus Rd.

November 6th, 2018—Register to vote on Election Day at Polling Location, at Northbrook Church, located at 4014 STH 167, between the hours of 7AM—8PM.

 REMINDER: All voters must provide a proof of resident document when registering to vote by mail, in-person in the clerk’s office, or at the polls on Election Day. See examples of Acceptable Proof of Residence documents below:

 Þ A current and valid State of Wisconsin Driver License, State ID card, or any other official identification card or license issued by a Wisconsin Governmental body or unit

Þ A real estate tax bill or receipt for the current year or the year preceding the date of the election.

Þ A gas, electric, or telephone service statement (utility bill) for the period commencing no earlier than 90 days before Election Day.

Þ A bank statement, pay check, or pay stub.


 Absentee Ballot  Deadlines

All Voters must be registered to vote before requesting an absentee ballot.  A  photo ID must accompany your absentee ballot request.

November 1, 2018 at 5:00 PM- Deadline for Regular and    Permanent Overseas Voters to Request an Absentee Ballot by mail. 

November 2, 2018 at 5:00 PM -  Deadline for Indefinitely  Confined and Military Voters to Request an Absentee Ballot. 

November 6, 2018 at 5:00 PM -  Deadline for Hospitalized Voters who may request a ballot be brought to them by an appointed agent if they are hospitalized in the 7 days            preceding the election. Hospitalized electors may request an absentee ballot between October 31, 2018 and November 6,  2018 at 5:00 PM.

November 6, 2018 at 8:00 PM - Deadline to Return Absentee Ballot-  If you have already received an Absentee Ballot, you must return your absentee ballot by mail or delivery to your municipal clerk no later than 4:00 PM on the day of the       election or personally deliver to the polls (Northbrook  Church) no later than 8:00 p.m. on November 6, 2018.

In-Person Absentee Voting

Vote In-Person  Absentee for the General Election being held on  November 6,  2018.  In-Person Absentee voting will take place in the Clerk’s office located at, 4128 Hubertus Road on the following  dates and times:

Monday, October 22, 2018 (8 am—4 pm)

Tuesday,  October  23, 2018 (8 am  - 4 pm)

Wednesday, October  24, 2018 (8 am—4 pm)

Thursday, October 25, 2018  (8 am—6 pm)

Friday , October 26, 2018 (8 am—4 pm)

Monday, October 29, 2018 (8 am—4 pm)

Tuesday, October 30, 2018 (8 am—4 pm)

Wednesday, October 31, 2018  (8 am—4 pm)

Thursday, November 1, 2018 (8 am— 6 pm)

Friday, November  2, 2018  (8 am—5 pm)
