Voter Registration Deadlines for Spring Election

  • March 14, 2018 – Deadline to Register by Mail – Voter Registration Application Form, along with acceptable form of Proof of Residence Must be postmarked to your municipal clerk no later than March 14, 2018.  Acceptable forms of Proof of Residence can be found on the back of the Wisconsin Voter Registration Application and must contain the voter’s complete first and last name and residential address, and are valid on the day used to register to vote. Must be a resident for at least 10 days.
  • March 14, 2018 – Deadline to Register to Vote Online – Voters who are able to match their name, date of birth, Wisconsin Driver License or State ID number, and address with the Wisconsin DMV can register to vote online through March 14, 2018 at https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/
  • March 30, 2018 @ 5:00 p.m. – Deadline to Register in Clerk’s Office.   Voters may Register In-Person in their Municipal Clerks Office during normal business hours from 7:30 am – 4:00 p.m. beginning March 15, 2018 and ending on March 30, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
  • April 3, 2018 from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm – Register to Vote at your Polling Place on Election Day.  All voters must provide a Proof Of Residence document when registering to vote by mail, in-person in the clerk’s office, or at the polls on Election Day. The polling location is Northbrook Church, located at 4014 STH 167. 

See some examples of Acceptable Forms of Proof of Residence below:

  1.  A Wisconsin Driver License / ID Card,  if not expired or cancelled; may be used even if driving privileges have been revoked.
  2.  A real property tax bill or receipt for the current year or the year preceding the date of the election.
  3. A utility bill for the period commencing not earlier than 90 days before the day registration is made.
  4.  A bank statement
  5.   A  paycheck
