Recycling Center

The Village of Richfield offers recycling at our recycling center behind the Department of Public Works building on Hillside Road. It is staffed by part-time employees, and has limited hours and services. Recycling services are offered only on the first and third Saturdays of each month, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, and during the months of April through November it is open the second Thursday of the month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Listed below are some items that are received at no charge and others which require a service charge. Prices are subject to change based on the Village's Fee Schedule.

Accepted at No Charge

• Automotive type batteries
• Leaves
• Motor oil
• Scrap metal (gas, oil, or grease shall be drained from all machinery; ballasts shall be removed from light fixtures.)
